Written in response to the oil paintings of Maggi Hambling for the English String Orchestra and violin virtuoso Harriet Mackenzie, Deborah Pritchard’s new violin concerto “Wall of Water” was premiered in October 2014 during the London Frieze Art Fair to national critical acclaim.
